The Alice Messenger bag has plenty of room for books, ipad and other daily essentials of life.  There's an internal zippered compartment for extra security and the front flap closes securely with strong velcro.  Another security feature is the zippered bag closure under the flap.   
Made in a premium canvas material and slightly padded, it's great for everyday use.   The wide shoulder strap makes it very comfortable to wear.
