How do I choose the right corset size?
Measure your natural waist (the narrowest point of your torso) with a soft tape, kept level and snug but not tight. Choose the corset size that is between 2" to 4" (5cm to 10cm) SMALLER than your waist measurement — corsets need to be smaller than your measurements in order to cinch you in, they are not sized in the same way a dress is.
If you fall between sizes or are unsure, we recommend messaging Steph via chat or filling out the Get a Personal Corset Size Recommendation form, she personally reviews each measurement form before production begins, and will reach out by email if anything in your measurements looks off.
How long does a made-to-order corset take?
Each corset usually takes us 2 to 3 weeks to make, at most times of the year. When we start our medieval festival season in May our making times can extend to around 4 weeks. For any of our corsets that are made from our custom designed fabrics, e.g. Alice in Wonderland, Cthulhu, Gothic Memento prints, there can be extra time required due to having fabric made. Allow aproximately 6 weeks for these corsets.
If you have a firm deadline (a wedding, event, or shoot), please contact us before ordering and we'll let you know what is possible.
Can I customise the fabric, colour, or length?
Yes — many of our corsets and gowns can be customised. Common changes include alternative fabrics, contrast trim, and lacing colour.

Can I book an in-person fitting?
Yes — Steph offers in-person fittings at the Melbourne atelier by appointment. This is ideal if you're new to corsets, ordering a made-to-measure piece, or preparing for an event where fit is critical.

Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?
We ship worldwide from Melbourne or NSW. Australian orders are sent tracked via Australia Post. International orders are sent tracked via Australia Post International, with the service tier depending on destination and weight.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. For a quote before purchasing, please contact us.
What is your returns policy?
Made on demand, Made-to-order garments and custom-sized corsets are non-refundable, because each piece is either made when you order (bulk stock is not held) or cut and made to fit your measurements and cannot be resold. If something is wrong with the fit, contact us within 7 days of delivery — we will work with you to adjust or remake the piece.
In stock pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided they are unworn and in original condition with tags attached. Restocking fees apply, and return postage/shipping is responsibility of the purchaser.

How do I care for my corset?
Corsets should be spot-cleaned, or lightly sponged with minimal water and gentle clothing detergent only. Occasional dry cleaning is usually ok for most corset fabrics but please check with us first if you are unsure. Only take your corset to a drycleaner who is used to either bridal garments or has good reviews. Do not machine wash, soak, or tumble dry.
When not wearing your corset, lay it flat or roll it loosely (never fold along the busk). Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
For minor surface marks, use a damp cloth with mild soap, work gently in the direction of the fabric weave, and air-dry flat.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are delivered instantly by email after purchase and never expire. They can be used across the entire atelier — corsets, gowns, jackets, accessories, and made-to-order pieces.
